Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou, 2ème Grand Cru Classé, Saint Julien, Bordeaux, 2016 Tasting notes

Ducru-Beaucaillou (19,5 points)
[85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot]

Beautiful clear ruby red concentrated color. Stunning expressive and complex nose. On the palate there is the superb fruit that strikes you at first. Loads and loads of fruit combined with a great mid-palate. None of the over-ripeness I have seen elsewhere, just balance bordering perfection. Refined aristocratic tannins and an exemplary length. A great classy and classic Ducru with a long future.
